When it comes to design, I believe it must function and bring joy. This approach works for every element of the design process. Functionality is key because every space serves a purpose. For example, a kitchen's layout considers appliance placement, dedicated storage, and its location as both an entertainment and working space, making it the heart of the home. Once functionality is established, we can focus on the joyful elements: colors and finishes that create a pleasing space.
